My Happiness

It's actually not that easy to be happy most of the time. It takes a lot of effort. It takes a lot of learning. Mostly it takes a lot of self control!
Not allowing yourself to become upset with little things. For example, when i have to pick Jeremys clothes up off the bathroom floor and put them in the laundry, I take a deep breath, say to my self, I'm sure he'll do it next time. Or when the Internet is being slow, I take a deep breathe and instead of slamming the laptop lid shut I'll pick up the piece of rubbish that didn't quite make it on the bin before and try again.
When Jeremy has left the sauce, salt and pepper, his dishes on the bench after lunch, dinner and breakfast, I'll put them away for him because I know he doesn't have to come home for lunch and spend that time with me,  even though, I know,  it only takes a couple of seconds to put things away after we use them. When the dog just will not leave me alone, I will yell for him to get out and then he'll just look at me, and I feel bad because he just wants someone to play with, so I'll give him a ruffle and walk back inside.

Honestly, I think what I have learnt so far in life, is to truly not let the little things get to you.
That list could go on and on and on and on even more, but in all seriousness what's the point on letting it bother you...
I'm 23... there no room in my life to get angry at being asked to pass the butter because you're closer it, or having to put the toilet seat down, let's face it ladies... its 1 second out of our day...
Not letting the little stuff get to me, has not meant there is more room to be angry about bigger things on life, it hasn't,  a lot of the time now, I barley think about it those bigger things in my life that anger me.

Being much happier not getting all up in arms about little things has made me a happier person, a better friend, and I think for the most part (I do get grumpy at Jez every now and then) a better girlfriend.

Settling in!

So, we've now been here for a couple of weeks now. The house is almost all unpacked, Jez has started his new job and is enjoying it. The boss and his family are pretty good.
I'm planning on going into town later this week and introducing myself and met a few locals.
It's exciting being in a new place and meeting new people.
We're still traveling back to Benny most weekends for Bowls. I am going to be so glad when that's over...
Jezs best mate Ryan and his gf Schae also moved down here too, best buddies  ant be too far away from each other. Haha. But it's good for them. :)

It was my 23rd birthday the other day. We went out to dinner in Albany, just Jez and I. Got to dress up a little fancily. It doesn't happen to often. But the dinner was yummy!!
That's caught you up on what's been happening.

Here's one of those random thoughts I have every now and then..
You're totally right.  Good friends are the best thing in life. And probably the most important thing. It doesn't matter if you haven't spoken in a very long time, if a good friend comes back to you,  it's worth holding onto that relationship. It is truly so hard to find a true friend and it's harder to lose one, but it is a great thing to get one back. Truly the greatest.
I'll explain that more in time...
Thanks for reading.  :)
Lots of love!!

We're Moving, YAY!

So, we took a load of furniture and things down south on the weekend. Long Drive and I am going to be so happy when we no longer have to keep driving back and forward every weekend!!

We went to the beach while we were down there and picked lots of shells. Looks like a good fishing spot there too. :)

I cant wait and get down and set up the house!! I am in love with my decks, which you can see the Stirling Ranges from!! How cool!!
I have a massive back yard which the puppy dog will love!!

I cant wait to go to the beach more and even just on weekend camping trips. I am so excited!!
I found Nemos home while we were at the beach. And SOOOO many pretty shells. I should have taken a photo of them!!

We almost couldnt get in. There was a lot of rain down there just before we went dow. So much that one of the roads were flooded.
SO I had to stop and take some photos of it. Hahaha

We reckon that 2 days before the water was higher than the maker, which is 2 metres. How crazy is that!!
I cant wait to get out and take some photos of the area with my camera and build up my Photography skills.:)

I Had a Very Nice Break

This year for the Christmas Break i didn't do much. However, I went and spent a few days at the beach with Jez, Dad and a few uncles. It was Fun, I caught some fish, worked on my tan and did some swimming. It was peaceful and relaxing, and squishy. 3 of us in a single cab ute is not fun for a 5 hour drive.
The new year saw me in bed by 9:30. I am getting to be a nanna. :p I did however make 2 very simple New Year Resolutions. 1. Don't go to bed with dirty dishes on the sink and 2. Brush my teeth every night. So far so good. I haven't missed a night. :)
Also in the New Year, Jez and i went and saw The Lion King in Perth!!! It was sooo amazing!! Live theater is just magical! It was a perfect couple of days with a spa day earlier on in the day, dinner before the show. It was perfect!!
So back to work tomorrow for 3 more weeks, then i have officially finished my Traineeship! Yay!
The CRC has been amazing and i thank them so much for giving me the opportunity.

Now, it's just packing and getting ready to move, in between work days and trips to Perth for the next 3 weekends. So, so, busy this month!

It truly is exciting!!

Until Next Time All.
Much Love

When the Christmas Tree goes up, the decorations and all the lights, my life gets just that little bit more happier.

This time of year spent with friends and family makes me smile. We learn to love again, We gain stronger love for those who have always been there for us!

We eat copious amounts of delicious food, and we all just have a really really good time!!

This year, Jez and I are off fishing for Christmas with my Dad and a few Uncles. Im excited. The last hoorah with my dad before Jez and I leave.

Being Young Is Not An Excuse

Being young is not an excuse for being stupid!!

Just because you are 21 does not give you the right to be a dick. Does not give you the right to be disrespectful to anyone, nor does it give you the right to lie.. Nothing gives you the rigth to do these thing!! Nothing!!

And I can not believe that you were forgiven as quickly as you were. Thats not even love thats just like desperation!

Rant over!!!

I have been quite emotional lately.. Crying over little things, and being sad.
I have put it down to hormones, 'being that time of month' and all, but if it doesn't improve in the next few days i think it is going to be something more, I am feeling okay today, but i haven't really been doing anything. I tidied my lounge and did some washing and dishes. Watched some trashy TV and thats about it. I haven't gone out and socialised with anyone and i think that is here a lot of my emotions are coming from. Lately there has been not much positiveness around and that i think is starting to take its toll on my emotions...

Anyways, I have a bit of a sore throat today, its probably from sitting on the sidelines at netball yelling at the netball team. They won yesterday which is good!!

I should go and finish the dishes, just thought id sit down for 5 minutes and update my blog.

Have an awesome day and remember to smile:)
